Examid® PA/PPA CF33 — PA6/PA6I compound with 33 % carbon fiber for low-temperature injection molding
Description
Examid® PA/PPA CF33 is a compound based on a blend of PA6 and partially aromatic PA6I (a PPA-series component), reinforced with 33 % carbon fiber. It is designed for low-temperature injection molding of precision parts (impellers, propellers and other high-accuracy components) that require a combination of moderate stiffness with a wide processing window. The material demonstrates exceptionally high mechanical performance: a tensile modulus above 21 000 MPa, heat resistance up to 180 °C (HDT at 1.8 MPa) and stable geometry with a low level of shrinkage. Thanks to the dense structure of the polymer matrix and the high reinforcement content, Examid® PPA CF33 delivers maximum molding accuracy and dimensional retention even under demanding climatic and service conditions.
The material is designed for engineering applications where stiffness, thermal stability and minimal change of properties over time, under moisture or temperature swings are critical. It is recommended for demanding structures, in particular in drones, the aerospace and automotive sectors, as well as in highly loaded machine-building components and defense applications.
