Description

Examid PA6 GF30 62100i is a high-quality glass-filled polyamide specifically developed for use in extreme temperature conditions. A glass fiber content of 30 % gives the material improved mechanical properties and increased thermal stability. This polyamide has an outstanding ability to retain mechanical strength and toughness even at very low temperatures. This makes it unique for applications where other materials may become brittle and lose their functionality.

Applications

Production of parts operating under high mechanical loads and extreme temperatures, for example, construction machinery components. Used for components such as suspension elements, fasteners and filter housings that must withstand both mechanical and thermal loads. Manufacture of winter sports equipment, such as ski and snowboard bindings, which must withstand low temperatures and impact loads. Used in components exposed to frequent mechanical impact and contact with water, for example, in housings for household appliances and plumbing devices.
