Exaflex® SBS 7090 — Linear Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene Block Copolymer for PMB
Exaflex® SBS 7090 is a linear thermoplastic styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer produced in-house by Material Wizard, optimized for the production of polymer-modified bitumen binders (PMB) for road construction. With a nominal butadiene/styrene ratio of ≈ 70/30, its linear macromolecular architecture provides better compatibility with bitumen and a finer dispersion than radial SBS rubbers.
It yields PMB grades 25/55-55, 45/80-65 and 75/130-65 per DSTU EN 14023:2023 and polymer-modified bitumen per DSTU B V.2.7-135:2014 at a typical dosage of 3.0–6.0 wt% based on BND 50/70 or BND 70/100 bitumen.

- Bitumen-polymer roll roofing materials (Euroroofing membranes)
- Road sealants per DSTU B V.2.7-136
- Hot-applied waterproofing compounds (bridge decks, tunnels)
- Contact and solvent-based adhesives (footwear production, contact adhesives for furniture)
- Polyolefin modification — improved impact resistance at low temperatures
Supply form
Powder or pellets, white to cream in color, with anti-blocking dusting. Packaging — 15 kg bags (paper-polymer with a PE liner) or 600 kg pallets (40 bags × 15 kg on a wooden EUR pallet, shrink-wrapped). Storage — dry enclosed premises, –20…+40 °C, relative humidity ≤ 70 %. Shelf life — 24 months.
Minimum order quantity — 1 bag (15 kg) or 1 pallet (600 kg). Standard full-truck load — 20 tonnes. Shipped from our warehouse in Derazhnia (Khmelnytskyi region). Samples of 1–5 kg are provided free of charge for laboratory testing.
