Polycarbonate Makrolon 2407
Description
Makrolon 2407 from Covestro is a general-purpose, low-viscosity polycarbonate (PC). It is UV-stabilized and offers easy mold release, high heat resistance, good strength and good electrical insulation properties. Suitable for injection-molding processing. Makrolon 2407 is used in electrical engineering and electronics.

Applications:
Makrolon 2407 is used in optics: eyeglass lenses, safety glasses, ophthalmic lenses. Industrial packaging — large-volume water bottles. It is also used in construction, home appliances, automotive applications, and safety and security systems.
