Description

Examid® PPA GF50 is a highly filled engineering polyphthalamide specifically designed for operation under prolonged thermal and mechanical loads. Thanks to its 50 % glass fiber content, the material demonstrates extremely high stiffness, dimensional stability and creep resistance.

It retains its mechanical and electrical insulation properties even at elevated humidity, which is critical for applications in changing environments and under thermal cycling.

Examid® PPA GF50 is intended for high-precision parts with demanding requirements for geometric stability, flame retardancy and mechanical strength. A low coefficient of thermal expansion, heat resistance up to 285 °C (HDT/A) and a high tensile modulus make it an effective alternative to metal in functionally loaded assemblies, particularly in enclosed designs with tight fits.
