Glass fiber reinforced polyphthalamide Examid® PPA GF33

Description

Examid® PPA GF33 is an engineering polyphthalamide (PPA) developed specifically for operation under sustained thermal and mechanical loads. Thanks to 33 % glass fiber reinforcement and a special lubricant additive, the material offers high stiffness, excellent flow in molding and stable geometry even under thermal cycling and exposure to moisture.

The material is based on PA6T/6I polyamide and is optimized for injection molding into water-heated molds, which allows a lower mold temperature, a shorter molding cycle and high fit accuracy.

Owing to its low water absorption, high creep resistance and heat resistance up to 300 °C, Examid® PPA GF33 performs reliably in contact with hot water, aggressive media and oils.
