High-Viscosity Extrusion Polyamide Examid PA6/66-EL

Description


Examid PA6/66-EL is a high-viscosity, lubricated PA 6/66 copolyamide intended for the production of monofilament and blown films with high transparency. It can also be used for injection molding of simple shapes as a more affordable alternative to PA6.


Advantages:

  • High transparency retained after pasteurization and autoclaving

Applications:

Extrusion of fishing line, sheets and films. Transparent weather-resistant device housings. A rather soft material, which offers a number of advantages in some applications, but structural use requires a full set of tests and consultation with Material Wizard specialists.


Processing:


Drying temperature: 80 °C

Drying time depends on moisture content and dryer type. Recommended time: 4-10 hours.

Zone temperatures: 230 ÷ 250 °C. To avoid thermal degradation of the material, temperatures above 270 °C are not recommended.

Injection pressure: 80 ÷ 100 MPa; 110 MPa is recommended.

Mold temperature: 40 ÷ 50 °C. A higher mold temperature results in greater shrinkage of the molded parts.


Color:


Can be supplied mass-colored at the customer's request.
