Polyoxymethylene Exablend POM 1100

Description

Exablend POM 1100 is a general-purpose polyoxymethylene (POM), a base grade for a wide range of technical parts. It combines stiffness, low friction and dimensional stability — the standard advantages of acetal — without additional modifications, making it the most economical choice in the Exablend POM range. Intended for injection molding of parts for household appliances, automotive applications and furniture hardware. An analog of DuPont Delrin 100, BASF Ultraform N2200 and Celanese Hostaform C9021 in base acetal applications.

Key properties

  • Base POM grade — universal for most technical parts
  • High stiffness and elastic modulus
  • Low coefficient of friction, high abrasion resistance
  • Low moisture absorption (<0.25 % in 24 h)
  • Dimensional stability — minimal shrinkage and warpage
  • High chemical resistance to fuels, oils and solvents
  • Economy grade — the most cost-effective in the POM range

Applications

Household appliances. Gears, bushings, connectors, brackets — standard components.

Automotive. Latches, interior fasteners, holders — fixed functional parts.

Furniture hardware. Locks, hinges, guides — an economical option.

Plumbing. Connection bodies, fittings — hot water resistance.

Electrical engineering. Connection housings, brackets.
