Material Wizard — a Ukraine-based supplier of polymer compounds — purchases post-consumer and post-industrial recycled feedstock for mechanical recycling into R-compounds. The purchase price is set individually based on laboratory analysis and depends on purity, MFR, color and lot volume. The typical level is 30–70% of the virgin polymer price.
How it works
- Inquiry. Submit a request with a description and photos of the material (polymer, volume, format, origin).
- Laboratory analysis. We perform a structural and chemical analysis of the lot: FTIR identification, MFR per ISO 1133, ash content, contaminants.
- Logistics. Pickup from your warehouse or freight delivery across Ukraine (terms depend on volume and distance).
- Payment. Payment within 3–5 business days after acceptance and analysis.
Limitations and process requirements
We are upfront about the limitations of mechanical recycling so we do not waste your time:
- Cross-contamination with another polymer (for example, PP in PE) — up to 5%.
- PVC or PET in a PE/PP stream, metal, paper, glass — no more than 0.5%. Anything above that damages the line.
- Moisture — up to 1%; otherwise a drying step is added and deducted from the price.
- Mixed colors — accepted at a discount to natural regranulate.
- Multilayer film (PE/EVOH/PE, PP/PA/PP) — not suitable for the mechanical line.
Where your feedstock goes
Purchasing does not end "at the warehouse": your material becomes part of Material Wizard recycle-grade products — rPP / rPE compounds for technical parts, pallets, crates, cable ducting and other non-critical applications. Part of the volume goes into custom orders for OEM partners meeting their CSRD targets for PCR content.
Strategic direction: ESG and the EU Green Deal
From 2024–2026, European customers are required to report the share of PCR (post-consumer recycled) content in their products (CSRD, Single-Use Plastics Directive, Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation). Material Wizard acts as a local partner for the Ukrainian vertical: we consolidate post-industrial waste, process it into standardized compounds and deliver them to OEMs with a chain-of-custody report.
Producing 1 t of r-PP compound generates up to 70% less CO₂ than 1 t of virgin PP (EuPC LCA estimate). Your material is part of that reduction.
