Polyamides (PA)

They are distinguished by increased strength, heat resistance, antifriction and electrical properties, a high melting point, and impact toughness. PA is used in the manufacture of instrument housings, high-reliability parts for railway and medical equipment, and in the design of aviation and automotive machinery, radio engineering, and instrumentation. Material Wizard supplies analogs of PA from the world's largest companies — DuPont, BASF, DSM & Lanxess — in Ukraine.

Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)

Used in the production of technical products by injection molding. A high continuous service temperature (up to 150 °C), creep resistance at elevated temperatures, weather resistance, dimensional stability, and abrasion resistance are important qualities inherent to PBT. They have defined this material's fields of application:

• electronic device parts (sockets, switches, coils, connectors);
• automotive spare parts for ignition and on-board power systems;
• household appliance housings;
• electric motor components.

Polysulfone

This type of polymer material is characterized by:

• excellent steam resistance;
• strength and property stability;
• resistance to thermal degradation;
• resistance to radiation exposure.

Thanks to these qualities, polysulfone is used to make high-strength insulators, coils, bearings, precision gears, pump components and hot-water fittings, and parts for water-heating elements.

SBS (synthetic rubber)

It is distinguished by high adhesion to other materials, elasticity, flexibility, and strength at various temperatures. It is mainly used to improve road surfacing and to manufacture quality plastics. Material Wizard offers analogs of SBS from Kumho Petrochemical, CHI MEI, LCY, Kolon Ind., Voronezhsintezkauchuk, etc.

SEBS

In demand thanks to compatibility with mineral oils and plastics, high resistance to weathering, heat resistance, and high strength under mechanical stress. The MW catalog features analogs of SEBS from Kraton, Septon, Globalprene, TSRC.

POM

POM (polyoxymethylene, or polyacetal) combines the highest rigidity and hardness with good resistance to dynamic loads even at low temperatures. It is used in the production of food-processing and medical equipment. Material Wizard offers analogs of the global brands Hostaform, Delrin, Kocetal at a reasonable price.
