It combines the high clarity of its spherulitic structure, a low density of 0.90 g\/cm\u00b3 and resistance to deformation under flexural loading. It is used both as a stand-alone structural material and as the polymer matrix for specialized filled Ultraplen\u00ae grades.<\/p>\n<h3>Full Ultraplen\u00ae line (current catalog)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae PP<\/strong> \u2014 base unfilled modified homopolymer (this card)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae 530<\/strong> \u2014 30 % glass-filled (GF), a replacement for glass-filled PA in technical parts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae PP GF30\/4164<\/strong> \u2014 30 % glass-filled copolymer for pipe and engineering applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae PP LGF55<\/strong> \u2014 55 % long glass fiber masterbatch (let-down ratio up to 1:3)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae PPMF40<\/strong> \u2014 40 % talc mineral-filled, increased stiffness and heat resistance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultraplen\u00ae 600<\/strong> \u2014 self-extinguishing PP with an FR package for electrical enclosures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Advantages<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High physical and mechanical performance at low density (~0.9 g\/cm\u00b3 \u2014 lighter than water)<\/li>\n<li>Improved surface quality of molded parts: matte or glossy finish as required<\/li>\n<li>Rheologically optimized \u2014 no sink marks or warpage in thick-walled parts<\/li>\n<li>Good stiffness\/elasticity balance \u2014 withstands impact loads without brittle failure<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with compatibilizers and fillers for further modification<\/li>\n<li>Low water absorption (&lt;0.02 %) \u2014 dimensional stability in any climatic conditions<\/li>\n<li>Environmentally safe: complies with EU 10\/2011 for food contact (no FR packages or plasticizers in the base formulation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Limitations \u2014 honestly<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lower heat resistance than PA or PPS \u2014 service range up to 100\u2013110 \u00b0C (continuous)<\/li>\n<li>UV-unstable in the base formulation \u2014 outdoor applications require a UV-stabilized grade (HALS package)<\/li>\n<li>Sensitive to oxidation in long-term service above 90 \u00b0C without an antioxidant package<\/li>\n<li>Limited resistance to strong oxidizers, concentrated acids and aromatic hydrocarbons<\/li>\n<li>For structural stiffness above a 1.5 GPa modulus, use Ultraplen\u00ae 530 (GF30) or Ultraplen\u00ae PPMF40<\/li>\n<li>The base grade is rated HB per UL 94 \u2014 for V-0\/V-2 choose Ultraplen\u00ae 600<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Target applications<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Packaging and containers:<\/strong> technical crates, buckets, logistics containers, IBC lids, thin-wall injection-molded packaging.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Home appliances:<\/strong> housing parts for washing machines and small kitchen appliances, fan and vacuum cleaner components.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industry:<\/strong> dispensing systems (where water contact is permitted), cold-water supply fittings, technical covers and housings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Automotive (interior):<\/strong> decorative trim, holders, cabin hardware components, vents for climate-control systems (NOT for under-hood applications \u2014 PA or PPS is used there).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agriculture:<\/strong> irrigation system parts, greenhouse equipment components (with a UV additive).<\/p>\n<h3>Global counterparts<\/h3>\n<p>Parametrically comparable base PP homopolymers: <strong>LyondellBasell Moplen\u00ae HP500N \/ HP400V<\/strong> (injection molding), <strong>SABIC PP 575P<\/strong>, <strong>Borealis Borform\u2122 HD120MO<\/strong>, <strong>TotalEnergies Lumicene\u00ae MR2002<\/strong>.
