The grade belongs to the Tarnamid\u00ae T-27 GF range (10\u201350 % glass fibre) and is intended for injection moulding of structural parts with high stiffness and strength. The base polymer is the medium-viscosity PA6 T-27, so the material fills moulds well, including thin-walled cavities, and can be combined with other Tarnamid\u00ae grades in one production flow.<\/p>\n<p>In the dry state Tarnamid\u00ae T-27 GF30 shows a tensile modulus of 9 500 MPa and a tensile strength of 175 MPa; after conditioning (23 \u00b0C, 50 % RH) the values change to 5 700 MPa and 110 MPa \u2014 typical behaviour of glass-filled PA6 that must be considered in part design. The heat deflection temperature HDT\/A is 200 \u00b0C per ISO 75-2 (1.8 MPa) and the melting temperature is 221 \u00b0C. Flammability rating HB (IEC 60695-11-10); for V-0 requirements the range includes a separate grade, T-27 GF30 FRV0.<\/p>\n<p>Material Wizard supplies Tarnamid\u00ae T-27 GF30 in Ukraine in natural and black (subject to availability), in the manufacturer&#8217;s standard 25 kg bags, with Grupa Azoty technical documentation. On request we provide technical support on processing, moulding parameters and substitution with comparable grades.<\/p>\n<h3>Key properties<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>30 % glass fibre \u2014 tensile modulus 9 500 MPa and tensile strength 175 MPa in the dry state (ISO 527)<\/li>\n<li>Heat-stabilised formulation \u2014 resistance to thermo-oxidative ageing in continuous service up to 120\u2013130 \u00b0C, short-term higher (to be verified on the part)<\/li>\n<li>HDT\/A 200 \u00b0C per ISO 75-2 (1.8 MPa), VST\/B\/50 215 \u00b0C \u2014 dimensional stability under load at elevated temperature<\/li>\n<li>Charpy notched impact strength 13 kJ\/m\u00b2 at 23 \u00b0C and 8 kJ\/m\u00b2 at \u201330 \u00b0C (dry) \u2014 predictable low-temperature behaviour<\/li>\n<li>MVR 45 cm\u00b3\/10 min (275 \u00b0C \/ 5 kg) \u2014 good flow for thin-walled and complex parts<\/li>\n<li>Low shrinkage of 0.3 % in flow direction \u2014 accurate geometry for tight-tolerance parts; shrinkage anisotropy (0.9 % across flow) must be accounted for in mould design<\/li>\n<li>High chemical resistance to oils, fuels and many solvents, typical of PA6; the specific medium requires verification<\/li>\n<li>Good electrical insulation in the dry state; moisture absorption of 1.9 % (23 \u00b0C, 50 % RH) affects electrical properties and dimensions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Applications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Automotive: brackets, sensor and connector housings, covers, cooling and air-intake system components<\/li>\n<li>Electrical engineering: circuit-breaker housings, terminal blocks, socket and contactor parts where stiffness and heat resistance matter<\/li>\n<li>Machine building: gears, pulleys, levers, guides, gearbox and pump housings<\/li>\n<li>Household appliances and power tools: housings, motor mounts, fan impellers<\/li>\n<li>Furniture hardware and construction fasteners: chair bases, hinges, high-load plugs and anchors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Processing recommendations<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Injection moulding.<\/strong> Pre-drying is mandatory: 80 \u00b0C for 4\u20136 h in a dehumidifying dryer to a residual moisture of no more than 0.1\u20130.2 %. Typical barrel temperature profile 250\u2013280 \u00b0C, mould temperature 80\u2013100 \u00b0C (higher values give better surface quality and higher crystallinity). Use a screw and nozzle resistant to glass-fibre abrasion; regrind up to 20\u201325 % provided it is dried.
