The high glass fiber content produces a tensile modulus<br \/>\n    of up to <strong>17 000 MPa<\/strong>, while the polyketone matrix adds stability in environments<br \/>\n    where standard PA, POM or PBT may have limitations.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    The material performs best where the design simultaneously demands a high modulus,<br \/>\n    low shrinkage, chemical resistance, stable fits and predictable serial processing.\n  <\/p>\n<h3>Typical applications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>structural automotive parts;<\/li>\n<li>under-hood components;<\/li>\n<li>rigid technical housings;<\/li>\n<li>electronic and electrical housing elements;<\/li>\n<li>precision gears;<\/li>\n<li>support and functional elements of mechanisms;<\/li>\n<li>parts considered for metal replacement;<\/li>\n<li>elements operating near fuel, oils or technical fluids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key advantages of Exablend\u00ae POK GF50 S4<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>50% glass fiber for high stiffness and shape stability;<\/li>\n<li>low linear shrinkage: 0.1\u20130.3% in the flow direction;<\/li>\n<li>tensile modulus of 17 000 MPa;<\/li>\n<li>flexural strength of 220 MPa;<\/li>\n<li>HDT of 205 \u00b0C at a load of 1.8 MPa;<\/li>\n<li>resistance to technical fluids, fuel-and-oil media and moisture;<\/li>\n<li>potential for metal replacement in moderately loaded parts;<\/li>\n<li>good suitability for precise molded parts with high geometry requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technical characteristics<\/h3>\n<p>\n    The main physical-mechanical, thermal and processing characteristics of the material are given<br \/>\n    in the table below. For a correct assessment of the grade it is important to analyze not a single value<br \/>\n    but the full set of parameters: modulus, strength, impact strength, shrinkage, HDT and the material&#8217;s<br \/>\n    behavior under real service conditions.\n  <\/p>\n<h3>Processing recommendations<\/h3>\n<p>\n    The material is intended for injection molding.
