Bio-based carbon content: 53.3 \u00b1 0.17 % (ASTM D6866-21, method B). The base molecule is derived from plant sources that <strong>do not compete with food agriculture<\/strong> (unlike corn-based PLA) \u2014 typically sebacic acid from castor oil and other technical bio-components.<\/p>\n<p>Developed specifically for <strong>cast and blown film extrusion<\/strong> as a bio-based alternative to standard PA film grades. It combines three parameters critical for film: high transparency (minimal light refraction and haze), a reduced melting temperature (155\u2013160 \u00b0C \u2014 60\u201365 \u00b0C lower than a PA6 film grade, which cuts processing energy costs) and a low crystallization rate (low curl and stable film geometry on high-speed lines).<\/p>\n<p>Typical parameters: density ~1.12 g\/cm\u00b3, melting temperature 155\u2013160 \u00b0C (Tm), Tg \u2248 40\u201350 \u00b0C, water absorption ~3.5 % at saturation (significantly lower than PA6 at ~9 %).
