Grade designation: L \u2014 injection-molding, U2 \u2014 level-2 impact modification. It is produced to GOST 11262-80 (mechanical properties) and OST 6-11-498-79 (glass-filled and modified polyamides), which makes the grade directly compatible with Soviet-style design documentation still in force at many machine-building, defense-industry and transport-sector enterprises in the CIS region.<\/p>\n<p>Key niche: <strong>manufacturing products to legacy GOST\/OST standards<\/strong>, where switching to EN\/ISO alternatives would require recertification, strength recalculation and updates to drawings and design documentation. Manufacturers working with government defense orders, the railway industry and heavy machine building, where documentation references GOST 11262 or OST 6-11-498, can continue using Grodnamid PA6-L-U2 without changing their specifications.<\/p>\n<p>Typical parameters (impact-resistant PA6 per GOST 11262): density 1.13 g\/cm\u00b3, yield strength 50\u201360 MPa (dry specimen), elongation at break 50\u2013150 %, notched impact strength 6\u201310 kJ\/m\u00b2 (per GOST 4647), Vicat softening temperature 195\u2013210 \u00b0C, continuous service temperature up to 80 \u00b0C (dry).
