The material offers good sliding properties, high strength and hardness, together with low susceptibility to stress cracking and low moisture absorption. The product is easily processed by injection molding and extrusion. Pocan\u00ae B1100 complies with RoHS 2 (Directive 2011\/65\/EU as amended by 2015\/863) and REACH.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Advantages<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Suitable for food contact<\/li>\n<li>Resistance to chemicals, oils and solvents<\/li>\n<li>Excellent processability<\/li>\n<li>Good sliding properties and low tendency to cracking<\/li>\n<li>Low moisture absorption<\/li>\n<li>High mechanical strength<\/li>\n<li>Balance of flexibility and stiffness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Applications<\/h3>\n<p>Pocan B1100 is suitable for food contact, which makes it appropriate for food-processing equipment components, such as packaging machine parts that must withstand frequent exposure to cleaning and disinfecting agents.<br \/>\nAutomotive industry: used for the production of interior and exterior parts, such as door handles, headlamp housings and other components exposed to elevated temperatures and aggressive chemicals (oils, fuels).<br \/>\nProduction of components for consumer electronics and household appliances: for example, computer housings, controls and buttons for various household devices.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Pocan\u00ae B1100 is a standard PBT (UL 94 HB), <strong>not a flame-retardant grade<\/strong>.
